This remarkable archive film tells the story of 173 Airborne Paratroops - The Sky Soldiers - from the perspective of a journalist, and shows a close up portrait of the soldiers carrying out everyday peaceful tasks, alongside combat footage of their battles. DVD 3 - Canada At War, V Was For Victory - Using archive film footage from World War II, 'V was for Victory' tells the fascinating story of the Canadian Force's role in the liberation of occupied Europe. Featuring the Canadian Army's march into occupied Netherlands and Belgium, and the troops' capture of enemy ground in Germany, the film also shows Mackenzie King's 1945 re-election and the Canadian Navy's role in the pacific.
