So far, the deepest humans have ventured is just 7 miles, which is just 500th of the way to the Earth s core. Through CGI, live action and archive footage, HistoryTM will take viewers on a jaw-dropping descent nearly 5,000 miles to the centre of the Earth. Along the way, we ll explore some awesome natural wonders, encounter bizarre ancient life forms, witness eye-popping triumphs of human engineering, savour the reality of humanity s greatest and strangest underground endeavours, and, at the core, find one of the keys to life itself.
