When Stunticon Drag Strip steals a powerful Cybertronian artifact known as a Gravitic Adjuster, the Bee Team gives chase but are caught in an explosion that once again fuses them into the Ultra Bee Team Combiner (UBTC). After managing to gain a certain level of control over the UBTC, the effect wears off and the separated Autobots realize in shock that Sideswipe has split into two identical individuals, each an opposite extreme of Sideswipe's personality. While the Bee Teamers return to the Scrapyard to analyze the combiner effect and deal with the two squabbling Sideswipes, Drag Strip unleashes the Gravitic Adjuster on a rural Trooper Station. The discombobulated Bee Team takes on Drag Strip, and the two Sideswipes must overcome their differences to succeed in stopping him before getting "reunited" into the one and only Sideswipe.
