Poland's Crooked Forest The "Crooked Forest" (Krzywy Las) is a natural monument with oddly shaped trees. It is located near the village of Nowe Czarnowo in Gmina Gryfino, Poland, approx 70-80 years old. Nobody knows what happened to the trees. Main thinking is, that they may have been deformed to create naturally curved timber for use in furniture or boat building, or that a snowstorm could have formed the trees.
