When Flipper comes to the aid of Alexis Demopoulos, an elderly sponge diver, Alexis believes that, according to the ancient Greek legend, Flipper must be a reincarnation of his brother. Sandy and Bud are inclined to go along with Alexis' story, but Porter Ricks is more interested in something else. Alexis is poaching the sponges within the territory of Coral Key Park and Marine Preserve.
