The trouble begins when Flipper finds money underwater and presents some of the bills to Bud. Flipper shows Bud where it came from and they collect more from the underwater wreck. Bud goes on a spending spree buying all the things a boy of his age would want plus gifts for Sandy and Porter. The real trouble starts when the bills prove to be counterfeit. The wreck has been rigged for an explosion by the counterfeiters and Porter must rescue his sons who have returned to the wreck.
