Like the heroes he sees on TV, Bud tries to rescue a damsel in distress, but fails to tell Porter or Sandy of his intentions, an suddenly finds himself caught in a dangerous riptide. An eight year old girl named Tina, running away from home has told Bud she is an orphan trying to escape from an evil guardian. Bud agrees to hide her on a nearby island, using his newly built and not-too-seaworthy raft. But their grand adventure threatens to turn into tragedy.
