Mishima Tuvache lebt in einer Stadt, die so trist, farblos und traurig ist, dass alle Bewohner die Lust am Leben verlieren. Gut, dass er einen Laden betreibt, der allerlei Seile und Pillen für einen gutgeplanten Selbstmord bereithält. Doch dann wird ausgerechnet ihm ein Sohn geboren, der die pure Lebensfreude verkörpert. Das aufgeweckte Kerlchen ist alles andere als gut für das Geschäft.
