The Baby Lemmings are playing a game with a moss ball that falls apart too quickly. They discover a hazel tree with huge hazelnuts that are perfect for making their game even more fun! Their neighbor, Baby Chipmunk, who has the largest stockpile of hazelnuts in the whole forest and a veritable internal radar for detecting them, quickly realizes that the Baby Lemmings have found one. She can't help but steal it for his own hoard. The Baby Lemmings realize that Baby Chipmunk hates to share so they decide to get their ball back and continue their game. Baby Chipmunk's hoard is very well protected in a hollow tree, however.
