Die Südkarpaten in Rumänien sind eine der letzten wilden Naturlandschaften Europas. Umgeben von Braunbären und Wölfen, muss Ed Stafford dort sein ganzes Survival-Wissen aufbieten, um abseits der Zivilisation zehn Tage zu überleben. Sein größter Feind ist dabei die Kälte. Doch ein wärmendes Feuer und ein trockener Unterschlupf machen die Lage einigermaßen erträglich. Und als dem Überlebensexperten zudem ein Reh in die Falle geht, nimmt der Trip doch noch ein gutes Ende.
Borneo ist die drittgrößte Insel der Welt und zu großen Teilen mit tropischem Regenwald bedeckt. Survival-Profi Ed Stafford will es zehn Tage in dieser grünen Hölle aushalten, bei Temperaturen um die 40 Grad Celsius und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von 90 Prozent.
