WASHINGTON, D.C.: A re-enactment of two man administering interrogation techniques under the codename "Artichoke". One man is duck taped to a chair as one of the interrogators holds him headlock and the other interrogator gives him an injection into his right arm. Psychiatrists at top academic institutions worked under a secret contract with the CIA. Psychiatric patients, prisoners, even unwitting members of the public are exposed to a startling array of experiments designed to facilitate interrogations, induce amnesia and program in new behavior. One drug in particular captures the agency's attention.
