Auf dem Heimweg von der Schule wird Anna Zeugin eines kaltblütigen Mordes. Der Mörder bemerkt Anna und verfolgt sie. Als der Mann sie angreift, erleidet Anna eine schwere Kopfverletzung. Erst Tage später wacht sie in der Klinik wieder auf. Zunächst scheint sie gesund zu sein. Doch dann stellt sich heraus, dass sie durch den Sturz unter einer neurologischen Störung leidet, die es ihr unmöglich macht, Gesichter zu erkennen.

Damit kann sie auch nicht den Mörder identifizieren - und wird für diesen nun zur vermeintlich leichten Beute. Trotz dieser irritierenden Krankheit versucht Anna mit der Hilfe des Polizisten Kerrest den Mörder ausfindig zu machen. Dieser kommt ihr immer näher, ohne, dass sie ihn erkennen kann. Der spannende Psychothriller von Regisseur Julien Magnat mit Milla Jovovich in der Hauptrolle, zeigt die großen Herausforderungen eines Menschen beim Umgang mit der Krankheit Prosopagnosie.

Starinfo Milla Jovovich: Mit neun Jahren begann sie zu modeln, mit 15 ging sie zur Schauspielschule. Milla Jovovich wusste früh, was sie wollte. Und bekam es auch. Die schöne Tochter eines serbischen Kinderarztes und einer russischen Schauspielerin fasste im Filmbusiness schnell Fuß, wobei ihr die zweijährige Ehe mit dem französischen Starregisseur Luc Besson geholfen haben dürfte. Er drehte mit ihr ‚Das fünfte Element', mit dem der 1975 Geborenen der Durchbruch gelang. Mittlerweile ist Jovovich in dritter Ehe mit Regisseur Paul Anderson verheiratet und hat mit ihm zwei Kinder. (Ihre erste Ehe mit einem Schauspielkollegen, die sie mit 16 einging, wurde auf Wunsch ihrer Mutter nach knapp zwei Monaten annulliert.) Mit Anderson erarbeitete Jovovich ihre kommerziell erfolgreichsten Filme: Die ‚Resident Evil'-Reihe. Dennoch sieht sich Jovovich nicht als reinen Action-Star: "Ich liebe es, Independent-Filme zu drehen. Das ist es auch, was ich den Rest meiner Jahre machen werde."
