Lincoln, Ontario - Ony Wibowo (played by Xavier de Guzman) and a marine (played by background performer) recover debris from the wreckage of the Sukhoi Superjet demonstration flight crash on Mount Salak, Indonesia.

ValuJet Airlines Flight 592 has crashed into a remote section of the Florida Everglades while attempting an emergency return to Miami International Airport. The crew reported a fire on board just moments after taking off with 110 passengers and crew on board. Within minutes the fire has made the plane impossible to control. The plane plunged into the Everglades, killing all 110 people on board. The investigation is hampred by the thick mud and unforgiving conditions of the Everglades. Locating wreckage is a slow and laborious proces that must be done by hand. The first priority for investigators is to locate the plane's 2 Black Boxes which could provide a clue about the origins of the fire.

Dramatic Reenactment: David McNair (played by Richard Quesnel) and a lab technician at the Canadian Aviation Safety Board cerefully study the flaps from Arrow Air Flight 1285. The plane, carrying 248 US soldiers crashed near Gander International Airport. Investigators wonder if the crew failed to extend the flaps that provide the added lift to get a plane off the ground.

Germanwings-Flug 9525 startet in Barcelona und soll ursprünglich in Düsseldorf landen. Sechs Besatzungsmitglieder und 144 Passagiere befinden sich an Bord des A320.

Da die Besatzung an Bord des Fliegers auf einen starken Sturm vorbereitet war, wurden alle Gegenstände an Bord entsprechend gesichert. Dennoch rollten sie plötzlich quer durch den Innenraum der Maschine und wurden somit zur Gefahr für alle Passagiere. (Animation)
