As the death toll climbs, and the histories of the victims are revealed, the team is convinced that they have a vigilante on their hands who is acting under the belief that he is carrying out acts of justice that have otherwise gone ignored by a flawed and corrupt legal system. An extensive search leads the police to Marvin Doyle, a stenographer at a criminal court where all of the murder victims were previously tried and acquitted of heinous crimes. As the pressure mounts the police find themselves in a race against time to stop Doyle before he claims his next victim.
