Gangsterboss Mr. Alexander hat sich ein kriminelles Imperium aufgebaut, das er mit harter Hand führt. Doch nun will er sich aus dem Business zurückziehen. Der ehemalige Killer Iceman sieht seine Stunde gekommen. Sein Plan ist es, die Schwäche seines Erzfeindes zu nutzen und dessen Organisation im Handstreich zu übernehmen. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, schreckt er auch vor kaltblütigem Mord nicht zurück.

Immer weiter treibt er seinen Gegner in die Enge. Als Alexander schließlich mit dem Rücken zur Wand steht, wendet er sich an seinen einstigen Zögling Hurst. Der hat früher für ihn als Auftragskiller gearbeitet. Nachdem dem jungen Mann jedoch ein scheinbarer Routineauftrag misslang, verkrüppelte Alexander zur Strafe seine Hände. Damit war seine Karriere als Killer beendet. Doch jetzt braucht der angeschlagene Gangsterboss Hursts Hilfe.

Der steht trotz allem loyal zu seinem Ex-Arbeitgeber und will auf keinen Fall, dass Iceman dessen Nachfolge antritt. Alexanders Freund Oso fällt die Aufgabe zu, Hurst für den finalen Showdown rechtzeitig fit zu machen.

Im Action-Genre gehört Steven Seagal ("Alarmstufe: Rot") zu den absoluten Superstars. Warum das so ist, macht auch "Force Of Execution" unmissverständlich deutlich - mit einer schnörkellosen Story und knallharter Martial-Arts-Action. Unter der bewährten Leitung von Regisseur Keoni Waxman ("A Dangerous Man") schlüpft Seagal diesmal in die Rolle eines Gangsterbosses, der sich gegen einen Rivalen zur Wehr setzen muss. "Force Of Execution" ist nicht die erste Zusammenarbeit zwischen den beiden. Sie vereinten ihre Kräfte bereits u.a. für "Steven Seagal's The Keeper" und die Serie "True Justice". Die Rolle des Bösewichts übernahm diesmal Ving Rhames, der Filmfreunden u.a. aus "Mission: Impossible" und "Pulp Fiction" bekannt sein dürfte. Als Zögling des Protagonisten ist der australische Martial-Arts-Spezialist Bren Foster ("Maximum Conviction") mit vollem Körpereinsatz am Start. Einen nicht minder imposanten Auftritt hat auch Kultstar Danny Trejo ("Machete Kills").
