Die Regenzeit hat auf Mats Mine im Busch von Queensland eine Spur der Verwüstung hinterlassen. Von der Trinkwasserversorgung bis zu den Truck-Motoren, nahezu alles ist in einem desolaten Zustand. Bevor die Männer dort nach Gold suchen können, müssen sie zunächst die Ärmel hochkrempeln und alles wieder in Gang bringen. Das ist im Outback Australiens leichter gesagt als getan.
